BACHOK, August 18, 2023 | UMK EAST ZONE PATRIOTIC JOURNEY 2023
A total of 66 motorcycles and 66 participants for four-wheel drive vehicles participated in the Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) Patriotic Campaign at the East Zone level on 16-17 August 2023 (Wednesday-Thursday).
A patriotic trip organized by the UMK Registrar's Office and the Corporate Communication Center in collaboration with the UMK Academic Staff Association (PEKAUMK), the Administrative and Professional Officers Association (PERTISA), the UMK Executive Staff Union (KESPUMK) and the UMK University Staff Welfare Club (KKSU) was held to fuel the celebration National Day 2023.
This convoy program is led by YBhg. Prof. Dato' Dr. Razli Bin Che Razak, UMK Vice-Chancellor started at the Chancellery Building grounds, UMK Bachok on 16 August 2023 (Wednesday), as early as 8.30am.
At the event, there was also a ceremony to hand over the Jalur Gemilang to the convoy participants. The motorcycle convoy marched to Tok Bali, Bachok while the car convoy moved through three locations namely Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) and ending at Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA).
The registrar of UMK said that this convoy aims to fuel the spirit of independence and the community's love for the country. He said that this program was organized to commemorate the 66th year of independence and to generate patriotic spirit and love of country among Malaysians.
