REGISTRAR'S OFFICE STRENGTHENS EKSA AUDITORS' COMPETENCIES TOWARDS QUALITY GOVERNANCE

The Talent Management and Excellence Division (BPKB), Registrar's Office, Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) organised the Public Sector Conducive Ecosystem (EKSA) Internal Auditor Course on 28 June 2026 at Seminar Room 2, Registrar's Office, Level 2, Chancellery Building, UMK Bachok.

The programme was designed to enhance participants' knowledge, skills, and professional competencies in conducting EKSA audits systematically and in accordance with the prescribed guidelines and standards, while promoting continuous improvement and compliance in EKSA implementation.

The course was facilitated by YBrs. Tuan Hashim bin Borham, Deputy Director of the Road Transport Department Malaysia (JPJ). Throughout the programme, participants gained practical insights into the principles of EKSA implementation, audit methodologies, assessment techniques, audit report preparation, and best practices for ensuring compliance with EKSA standards.

It is hoped that the programme will produce competent, ethical, and highly skilled EKSA auditors who will contribute to fostering a conducive, systematic, high-quality, and high-performing workplace, while strengthening good governance and organisational excellence at Universiti Malaysia Kelantan.
