2027 OPERATING EXPENDITURE ESTIMATES (ABM) REVIEW MEETING FOR PUBLIC UNIVERSITIES WITH THE MINISTRY OF FINANCE

The Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Malaysia Kelantan (UMK) led the University's delegation to the 2027 Operating Expenditure Estimates (ABM) Review Meeting for Public Universities with the Ministry of Finance, held at the Ministry of Higher Education (MOHE).
The UMK delegation included representatives from the Bursar's Office and the Registrar's Office, who presented the University's proposed operating budget and financial allocation for the 2027 financial year. The presentation focused on the University's operating expenditure requirements to support its core functions, strengthen institutional governance, advance human capital development, and implement its strategic priorities.
The meeting served as an important platform for the Ministry to evaluate the University's financial requirements in alignment with its development plans, strategic aspirations, and the national priorities for higher education.
It is hoped that the proposals presented will support UMK's sustainable growth and further strengthen the University's capacity to deliver high-quality education, research, innovation, and knowledge transfer for the benefit of society and the nation.
