How to apply for academic positions at the University Malaysia Kelantan?


Application for academic positions open throughout the year. Application must be accompanied with:

- An official letter (state the position applied)

- Current Resume

- Certified copies of academic certificates

- Certified copies of certificates support confirmed

 

Application must be sent to the faculty or directly to the Registrar's Office at the following address:

Job application is through the online system of http://jobs.umk.edu.my/. Methods of application may be referred

to advertisements published by the Human Resources Division, Office of the Registrar.

Within six (6) months from the closing date

What is the maximum age to apply for study leave?

The maximum age to apply for study leave is 35 years to further the Master and not more than 40 years for a

PhD.

Where can get more information on study leave?

Further information can be obtained on study leave in Higher Education Policy of UMK.

 

Q7

What should be submitted to the Study Leave Unit during the period of study?

Here is the list should be submitted to the Study Leave Unit during the period of study:

i. Plan of Studies (POS) 3 months from the date of commencement of study.

ii. Course Progress Report (every 6 months).

iii. Performance Appraisal - before 31st December of each year.

iv. Update your mailing address and current e-mail when changes are made.

v. Family information which is brought or sent home if there is a change.

Are eligible for adjustment of the period of study if I give birth and the pilgrimage during the studies?


Adjustment period of study is not feasible based on the principles applied for leave facility that cannot be used

simultaneously. This statement can be referred in Academic Circulars No.5 in Year 2014 on using the resolution of

maternity leave or leave for Hajj for scholarship holders of Staff and Lecturers during the period of study leave /

study.

I have to pay fees in advance, how do I claim?

How to give depth to the fee payment claim is submitted along with the original receipt of an official letter

that was paid and claims reimbursed only for the duration of the sponsorship and according to qualifications.

Please send it to Study Leave Unit to process.

What is the minimum marks for the annual performance evaluation of the staff receive an annual salary?

Minimum marks for annual performance evaluation to enable staff gets Annual Increment (KGT) is 50% and above.

How do I enrol my dependents in the list of university panel clinics?

Please submit a copy of the birth certificate / marriage to the duty officer at the General Management Unit,

Office of the Registrar.

What is Innovative and Creative Group (ICC)?

CIC is a small group whose members are workers who represent the same workplace or cross-functional,

gathered voluntarily to identify problems, analyze and stir up creative ideas and innovative elements

for the purpose of completion of the project.

What is there in the Records Management?

Records management is a management system based on the acts / regulations / guidelines of the

National Archives include the creation of records, use of records, maintenance and disposal.

What is the maximum limit for eligible dental treatment claims made?

The maximum limit of one year for the staff concerned UMK dental treatment claims is RM200.

What is the limit value for the clinical treatment of UMK panel?

Following to the approval of the top management, limit per treatment for staff at the panel clinic UMK is RM35.

Staff need to pay additional values ​​in the clinic (if any)

How to apply vehicle stickers?

Applications must be filled in e-community portal under the menu Admin - e-sticker. After the application is approved, please make a payment in the Treasurer's Office at each campus to get a payment slip. Submit payment slip at the Security Office on each campus to get the stickers. For students and contractors also need to fill manually blonde contained in the Office of Security Division by attaching a copy of a driver's license, staff card / student card / identity card and a valid vehicle registration.

What should I do to get a visitor's card?

If you visit to UMK, you must report and register at the Security Main Post which located at the entrance to the campus for visitors' card to deal with the UMK party. Please submit the identity card to register yourself as a visitor and for purposes to be recorded.
